The McGavock Suite is named for Carrie Elizabeth McGavock, a native Mississippian, who tended to Civil War soldiers at her home after the historic Battle of Franklin, Tennessee in 1864. Mrs. McGavock and her husband are credited with one of the first national cemeteries in the United States, when she designated 2 acres adjacent to her home to bury nearly 1500 soldiers and personally maintained the cemetery.

Furnished with a four-poster queen bed and antique armoire, this suite also boasts a gorgeous marble bathroom and a large jacuzzi tub for relaxing. The Faulkner Suite is named for Nobel Prize-winning author William Faulkner. Born in Mississippi in 1897, Faulkner published such iconic works as The Sound and the Fury, As I Lay Dying, and Absalom, Absalom.

This suite will instantly capture your heart with its antique half-tester queen bed, custom linens, and turn-of-the-century clawfoot tub in the marble-floored bathroom. The LeMoyne suite is named after Pierre LeMoyne d’Iberville, the French Canadian who established himself as a soldier and naval commander and was commissioned by French monarchy to locate the mouth of the Mississippi River through the Gulf, coming through Mobile Bay, Cat Island, and Ship Island in 1699.
